Now let’s have a look
on the table of five.
Here is the table of five
as given in textbooks etc.
5 × 01 = 05
5 × 02 = 10
5 × 03 = 15
5 × 04 = 20
5 × 05 = 25
5 × 06 = 30
5 × 07 = 35
5 × 08 = 40
5 × 09 = 45
5 × 10 = 50
If you notice the last
digit is 0 for each even row and 5 for each odd row.
5 × 01 = 0 5
5 × 02 = 1 0
5 × 03 = 1 5
5 × 04 = 2 0
5 × 05 = 2 5
5 × 06 = 3 0
5 × 07 = 3 5
5 × 08 = 4 0
5 × 09 = 4 5
5 × 10 = 5 0
First digit is half of multiplier but only whole number.
5 × 01 = 0 5 =
01/2 = 0.5 = 0
5 × 02 = 1 0 =
02/2 = 1
5 × 03 = 1 5 =
03/2 = 1.5 = 1
5 × 04 = 2 0 =
04/2 = 2
5 × 05 = 2 5 =
05/2 = 2.5 = 2
5 × 06 = 3 0 =
06/2 = 3
5 × 07 = 3 5 =
07/2 = 3.5 = 3
5 × 08 = 4 0 =
08/2 = 4
5 × 09 = 4 5 =
09/2 = 4.5 = 4
5 × 10 = 5 0 =
10/2 = 5
Combining all above
easily remember the times table of five.
